Forest animals are independent and have a habit to move around freely in the forest areas. Due to the increasing industrialization and civilization, more and more forest lands are captured by the people for the purpose of construction of roads and buildings.

There is no space left for them to get settled. Hence, in order to provide the animals freedom in their necessary habitat, wildlife sanctuaries are built in the hilly forest areas and they are bounded by fencing so that the animals remain safe and do not pose a threat to the people in the locality.
